Education and training at ROC Mondriaan

ROC Mondriaan provides education across 25 schools. At these schools, we ensure a trusted learning environment for our students. The schools are distributed across five campuses in The Hague and Delft:

  • Leeghwaterplein

  • Koningin Marialaan

  • Tinwerf

  • Aspasialaan

  • Brasserskade

Additionally, ROC Mondriaan has branches in Leiden and Naaldwijk. Students can choose from 260 vocational training programs at various levels (2, 3, or 4). Students can pursue our programs full-time as vocational educational training (VET) or part-time alongside work as work-based learning (WBL).

Adult education and entry-level courses

ROC Mondriaan also offers education and training for adults. You can also pursue entry-level courses at ROC Mondriaan:

  • Secondary education (vavo, including lower general secondary education, higher general secondary education, and pre-university education) for (young) adults

  • Corporate training for employees at Menskracht

  • Dutch language courses for non-Dutch speakers and Dutch-speaking students at the Taal+school

Connection with professional practice and society

At ROC Mondriaan, we aim for you to develop into a skilled professional and responsible citizen. Therefore, our schools work closely with professional practice, the government, and a variety of social organisations and initiatives.

We connect with professional practice and society in several ways. For example, through our Advisory Councils, which consist of representatives from the business community. We also have over 50 partnerships with the business sector, such as in our Technology Innovation House.

Social initiatives

ROC Mondriaan also supports social initiatives through student internships. This means you can find ROC Mondriaan students everywhere. It's a win-win situation: students learn on the job and contribute to society. For instance, ROC Mondriaan collaborates intensively with football club ADO Den Haag from various programs:

  • About 60 students from the Security program undergo training as stewards each year. Under supervision, they work as stewards at home games.

  • Every year, around 30 students from the Hotel Management program intern in the hospitality department of ADO Den Haag.

  • Students from the Construction and Infrastructure program play a technical role in setting up and dismantling events at the stadium.

Dutch as a second language

The Taal+ school at ROC Mondriaan in The Hague offers a number of courses ‘Dutch as a second language’ for both private individuals and employees of organisations and companies. Every adult that wants to learn to read, write, and speak Dutch is welcome in one of our courses.
